Purdon Planning has been engaged by POD Projects Group to manage the development application process including community consultation for a proposed development on Block 4 Section 209 Gungahlin.
The site is located at the corner of Gribble Street and Gundaroo Drive within the Gungahlin Town Centre. POD Projects Group is a Canberra-based company that specialises in property development and has successfully delivered numerous residential and commercial properties across Canberra.

This site was originally planned as the third “Infinity Tower” and in 2015 approval was granted for construction of a 14 storey residential development comprising 122 dwellings, car parking at basement, ground and podium level and a lease variation to add residential use and commercial accommodation use.
Block 4 was recently transferred to POD Projects Group who have decided not to progress with the Infinity Tower design and to revise the design of the proposed development. The current proposal is for a 14 storey development, including 3 levels of basement carpark, 2 levels of podium parking and 500m2 of commercial space. There is no increase to heights and the overall design will seek to improve housing affordability, activate street frontage and create a sense of entry into this part of the town centre.
Detailed plans and supporting documents are currently being prepared for lodgement of a Development Application (DA) to the ACT Government.
